Beat the Monday Blues: Cats with good 'meow'mory!

Cats are often blamed for attacking precious native wildlife. Thus, a study was done in the United States (US) to track the movement of cats. One of the remarkable results they found was that cats have a great long term spatial memory and can travel to places they used to live in even though they've never been there on their own before! Find out more in today's video.

Just as the guy in the video shared, we only advocate that cats in Singapore remain indoors for safety reasons and good neighbourliness. Keep them happy at home by providing sufficient food, water, enrichment toys, scratching post and lots of love and companionship. Also, don't forget to mesh your gates and window grilles.

Pet Care Tips: Tips To Remove And Prevent Dog Ticks

Beat the Monday Blues: Layka, the military dog

Layka was sent to Afghanistan together with her handler, Staff Sgt. Julian McDonald. Watch the video to learn about her remarkable story.

Pet Care Tips: How to Handle a Rabbit

Rabbits are very different from cats and dogs. That also means they would have to be handled very differently. Being a prey animal and with a heavy bottom, any mis-handling can injure and/or even kill them. Find out how to handle a rabbit in today's video.

Beat the Monday Blues: Skinny the not-so-skinny cat

Big and round cats may look cute but is it really healthy for them to be so big? Luckily for Skinny the overweight cat (yes that's his real name – we didn't make it up), his big days are over!

If you have a similar problem, you might want to make an appointment with your vet to discuss your pet's weight issue.

Pet Care Tips: How Dogs Smell

We all know that dogs can smell a whole lot better than us. But, do we know how they see the world by their sense of smell? This interesting Ted Ed video is quite an eye opener. You might want to have your dog nearby so you can cuddle him tight! How special our best friends are!
