Pet Care Tips: How to bathe your dog at home

If you've just got a dog and/or planning to adopt one, this will be good for you! Even for the seasoned dog owners, this will be a good refresher.

Beat the Monday Blues: Storing Food Hammy

Hamsters store food in their cheek pouches for many reasons. Sometimes, it is to re-decorate their cage. Other times, it is to carry the food they have stored to another part of the cage. Nevertheless, it is amazing to see a small creature to be able to fit so much food in its cheeks.

Make sure that you are giving the appropriate type of food to your pets. Otherwise, they can fall sick. Remember to take good care of your pets and give them attention so that they'll be happy!

Pet Adoption Friday: Scott and Sugar from Save Our Street Dogs

SOSD_Scott_16012015Scott is an energetic dog that can take up long jogs. Scott needs training as he gets distracted by smells along the trail due to his curious nature. He is also grass-trained. He knows his boundaries as long as you show them to him. Scott shows affection by being quiet and enjoys snoozing beside his human.SOSD_Sugar_16012015Quiet, sweet, and loving are three words that describe 6-month-old Sugar. She is a pretty and easy-going pup who doesn't seek your attention or run around the house like other pups her age. She enjoys chilling in her own comfort corner at home. When she meets new people, it takes time for her to come out of her shell and sniff or interact. She is friendly with both people and other dogs. Would you give her a home?

Both Scott and Sugar can be adopted separately. If you are keen to adopt them, please contact Save Our Street Dogs at with your particulars.

Pet Care Tips: Hello, wheeks me!

The adorable guinea pig loves company of its own kind! And we prefer of the same sex too. When they're happy and they know it, they... wheek wheek!

Beat the Monday Blues: Nice to meet you, Little Kitty!

Kittens are small and need careful handling as they are still getting used to socializing. What happens when big-sized men are introduced to little kittens for a little playtime? Let's see their reactions!

A pet is a lifetime commitment that requires constant attention and care. Get a pet only when you are ready.
